Ali is more than just a personal trainer. As well as putting me through your passes each week with varied and challenging programs, she is a mentor, life coach and a nutritional genius. She always makes me smile and feel good. I now can’t do without Ali in my life. Jackie, Sheen
Before starting with Ali, I had joined gyms and gone to classes, but nothing stuck and the weight just piled on. I had lost any hope of ever being fit and happy with the way I looked. My partner contacted Ali as a surprise - it was the best gift ever. When I first met Ali, I wanted to learn to exercise in a way that didn't depend on me joining things and could be sustained for the rest of my life. That is precisely what I got. Each session, Ali teaches me new ways to exercise and tackles all of the aspects of my fitness holistically, including diet and lifestyle. As a result, I have lost over a stone and have run two 10k races - and this is someone who couldn't run for the bus! Ali has helped me to achieve things I never thought I could and changed my attitude to my health and fitness for good. Whenever, people comment that it must be expensive, I always say 'not as expensive as drinking, smoking and eating yourself into a heartattack'. Because of the attention Ali gives to each individual, exercises and classes can be adapted to meet everyone's needs. This meant I was able to train after the birth of baby no. 1, throughout the pregnancy of baby no. 2 and then with both my boys. The classes can be adapted to meet the needs of the babies’ ages as much as the needs of the mum resulting in a much more productive class. Ali is a real asset in my life. Her tough but gentle approach has enabled me to reach the goals we agreed and progress steadily. Her sessions are always varied and stimulating, the correct balance between challenge and achievement - and of course laughter! After each session I feel satisfied that I have worked hard and enthused about the week's challenges - even if I don't always achieve 100% of them! Ali's advice extends well beyond that of the physical exercise with her wealth of knowledge on nutrition and the psychology of fitness. It all works a treat! Jan, Ealing I started training with Ali a year ago, feeling very low about my weight and feeling like it would actually never change as I had tried going to the gym, and thought I know what is and is not good for me to eat! But obviously I was wrong as the weight was not moving. When I first met Ali, someone who I can only describe as the nicest people I know, with so much energy and someone who really knows how to get results. I was so motivated by her, and felt I could achieve my goal, and am more then half way there. EVERYONE has noticed the huge difference in my weight and look, and I also find the sessions especially the kick boxing a great stress reliever!! Plus getting outside into the fresh air has made me feel much healthier overall. Jen, SW London I can hold my head high in the gym! I'm much more motivated to run and also do resistance exercises 3 times per week! I don't have sugar in tea/coffee anymore! Porridge in the morning. Healthy snacking in the afternoon. It's like everything I do is part of a strategic plan to make me better - it's like every little thing has its place and even though it might be a small thing (like the sugar) then it's all part of a bigger picture. Basically I didn't used to see the bigger picture so any small effort I might have made before felt like a drop in the ocean and I'd often give it up because I didn't feel like it was making a difference. It was really very good, I would probably go as far as saying that it was one of the best things that I've ever done - it's made such an amazing difference to my fitness, energy and confidence. I just really hope that I keep it up. I'm sure that I will, I'm just being my usual uncertain self! Also, thanks so much for the 10 week plan for 10km - that's going to help me to keep focussed for the next 10 weeks. Although I'm so much more knowledgeable and confident, I don't think I would have known how to get up to 10km without it.
